| i agree with u guys..i loveee classic rock, i just wish i was born in those times especially when Nirvana were still around  oh well..now i love the foo fighters coz they kinda remind me of nirvana..well dave grohl (lead singer) was nirvana's drummer so probably thats why, and i also think they kinda represent rock in its true form..
although i love classic rock like nirvana and metallica, i also love punk and alternative rock like TH, MCR, FOB etc. |

R.E.M are (in my opinion) are the greatest supergroup from more than 10 years ago, I'm seeing them live :]
But i also love modern stuff like tokio hotel of course, cause they're my favourite!...and mcr, green day and HIM.
I agree though, rock from a decade and more ago shaped the music as it is now, and i think everybody should listen to it and remember it, because it's amazing. |

I personally like earlier bands, both metal and rock, 'cos some of the newer bands are only commercial -.-
From earlier bands i like: ACDC, Bon Jovi, Children Of Bodom,Guns n' Roses, Manowar, Metallica, Nirvana, Ozzy Osbourne, Pantera && Slayer.
Though then I listen to TH, Green Day, Evanescence, Muse, MCR, BFMV, HIM and more. |

has anyone heard of Incubus? You have to listen to them if you haven't, they're pretty amazing!

I'm gonna assume you're a fan of Prodigy as well? IF not check them out, they're not bad!
I still prefer 70s/80s rock. If it wasnt for TH, MCR and CB, I'd say I was born in the wrong era tbh. TH is the thing I listen to most now though.
Plus back then was the beginning of real goth music. I love Nightwish, Within Temptation, Lacuna Coil, Jack Off Jill etc... but back then goth and rock was so RAW and full of passion, ya know xD

lol me and my friend have these funny arguements about 80's and 90's rock, she was wearing this shirt one day that said "80's rock never dies" or something like that and I said "nu uh, 90's is better" lol she said I was crazy...
anyways...yeah Nightwish is pretty cool, I think I prefer Evanescence though, similar sound at least.
